Hey everyone,
This is a big shout out thank you to all the Ecochosters who have willingly given their time to improve Ecocho. We really love it when people want to get involved and I’ve always said that Ecocho would work best if users become a part of the team and help us make Ecocho the best it can be (due to us being a really small team of people).
A big way that you guys have helped is by offering translation, or corrections to existing translation. After all, Ecocho has always been a global site – a way for everyone in the world to do some good in a very simple way, so we want to make it the best experience possible for all nations and all languages (in time!). Your translation is a big part of this goal.

“Bedankt!” as translation for “Thanks!” sounds quite strange to a German native speaker. You would say “Danke!”.

I appreciate your idea and the time you are spending in this project, in spite of all the problems of the server (I’m italian).
I will use Ecocho even if it uses only Japanese or Swaili, but it’s good to see that there’s someone out there that is working for a translated version…

Out of curiosity, are there plans for Ecocho to work with the new search engine Cuil (http://www.cuil.com/)? Might gain us some extra trees 🙂

Hi there MD. We have no plans in place to contact Cuil just yet. Cuil is a very new search engine (born only last week!) so we’ll have to see how it goes. It could prove to be a useful search engine on the web in the future, but only time will tell. Cheers for the idea though!

Sorry for writing here – the contact form does not seem to work for me with Firefox 3…
I like your project very much, great idea! Only one feature i need to get away from google: Google (and yahoo search as well) do display the url with each search result. I need that to consider quickly what the result is worth – without that searching using ecocho takes too much time for me…
